This place is awesome! The vibe is really cool, and the food tastes amazing. Plus, Carlos, our waiter, is super nice and made everything even better!
Standard Holiday inn, good and comfortable bed in the room. Very nice breakfast. They have problem to deliver laundry back to the room, I had to always ask where is my clean clothes. .
It's located next to Sam's, so we went shopping. Staff is very nice and helpful. The rooms are very clean. Had dinner in the restaurant, and everyone ordered something different. We all enjoyed our meals. We added breakfast with our rooms. The next morning we were very impressed. Huge selection! Barbacoa, pozole, and other meat dishes. Yogurt, fresh fruit, cereal, fresh fruit juices, etc. Eggs any style, so I had Huevos Rancheros, and they were perfect.
I stay at the Holiday Inn Matamoros often. Is a Great place and provides a great service. The hotel restaurant “El Agave” has excellent service, waiters are kind and friendly, plus food is always good. Special thanks this time to Pedro Rodriguez security guard at hotel Parking lot. He found my cellular phone near the trash starting his shift and was so kind to keep it on and be pending until I called while looking for it. He kindly said “Sr. I found it in the trash and was waiting for your call... I am done here at the lobby you can come an pick it up! “ A very simple example of what good and honest people work at this place.
Spent my birthday here but they only had suites available, so cost was $250 us dollars and Air conditioning was not enough to cool the roof enough for a good night's sleep, 2nd night was more affordable was only $85 for normal room with king size bed
What else can I say about this place? It is conveniently located close to big stores, the service and staff amazing! The restaurant crew, beyond amazing! This is my second time staying here will in town and have loved every piece of it! Check out time, 1300 hrs, which gives plenty of time to get yourself together before leaving the premises. The price per night, worth it as well! The breakfast buffet, to dine for !!!
I had an exceptional time here! Great people great service. You should try them out especially Agave restaurant they go beyond your expectations. This will be my go to place from now on!
Such a beautiful room, clean and comfortable. It is important that the bed is clean and comfortable. The pillows and covers are comfortable, I had a great sleep and rest.
